Other Items of Note: · Holidays and most weekends require a two-night minimum stay. · All prices shown not including 6% Pa. Sales tax and 1.1% local tax and are for double occupancy. A Rollaway is available for a $20 charge. All prices subject to change. · We accept cash, personal checks, travelers cheques and major credit cards. Reservations require a deposit of one-nights lodging (we can hold it with a major credit card), with the balance due upon arrival. Bookings will be held 7 days pending deposit. · Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the reservation date will be refunded minus a $10 service fee. All others will be forfeited. As an alternative, we would be happy to reschedule your visit for another time. · Check-in time is between 3:00 - 6:00 p.m.; checkout is 11:00 a.m. · Sorry - no accommodations for children under 12. We are a very old property and are not exactly “child-proof”. · No pets please; Alexandra the Yellow Lab is always underfoot. · No Smoking permitted inside the Inn. · The guest bedrooms are central air conditioned for your comfort. · A parking area is located in the rear and you can enter through the side door. · Bicycle storage available. · There are numerous restaurants in the vicinity; our obvious favorite is the one we own—the nearby Iron Horse Inn; but if you really want to get back in the car and drive somewhere: · For formal dining we’d recommend · Carr’s Restaurant or · the Greenfield Inn (ask for the wine cellar); · For casual dining there is: · The Brasserie or · The Pressroom. · For hand-dipped ice cream don’t miss the Strasburg Creamery. · And on weekends, stop into Simmons Bakery and see what Mike and Mary have baked up (the Snickers Pie!!!!!!!!). |
