You love us

  • Even better than we could have hoped
We loved spending the past few days at this 236 year old inn! The Limestone Inn, built in 1786, is nestled between antique stores and a creamery, and is absolutely delightful! The inn owners stay on site and are wonderful cooks! Breakfast each day was delicious and they thought of everything one might possibly need to feel right st home.
Highly recommend if you’re ever staying in the Lancaster area.

  • My wife and I were very fortunate to choose the 1786 Limestone Inn B&B as our place to stay during a recent trip to Lancaster County in PA. Years before we began enjoying cruises we used to stay at B&B’s and we have been to some of the very best. None could compare to the Limestone Inn! The guest rooms had everything we needed and they were tastefully outfitted with authentic and functional antiques. The common rooms, of which there are several, were extremely comfortable and invite you to sit and relax. The best feature was the innkeepers, Rick and Denise. They made us feel like we were the first guests they ever had. Denise gave us a great tour of the inn and made sure that everything was ready including a supply of snacks and wine in the downstairs common room that looks like a comfortable pub with a TV. Rick cooked an amazing breakfast for us each day. He is a superb chef who not only made specialty meals but also consulted with us on what we wanted. The Limestone and its gracious hosts will not disappoint!

  • My husband and I decided to spend a weekend in the PA countryside near Lancaster PA, and we could not have picked a nicer place to stay. The 1786 Limestone Inn and B&B is charming, Rick and Denise were such gracious hosts, the breakfasts were delicious and the fellowship around the breakfast table was warm and delightful. The Inn is better in person than pictured. We could not have been more pleased. Little touches such as a sweet treat dish bedside, wine and snacks in one of the common rooms and a fountain in the garden to read alongside are just a few. Highly recommend. Will definitely return!!

  • You won’t be disappointed by staying here. Denise and Rick are wonderful hosts. They want your stay to be good and they are available to make that happen. I’ve stayed at numerous B&B”s over the ears and this it the closest I have ever felt to actually being a guest in someone’s house. Our room and bed were comfortable, plenty of hot water for the shower, meals were wonderful and beautifully presented. Loved everything about staying here!
